BILL ANDERSON/THE OAKS "Gone Away"

Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, which serves as a winter home to the Grand Ole Opry, hosted an historic Opry show on February 3, 2012 when many of its members performed for a final time on the Ryman's current stage, which is being replaced after 61 years of literally being "stepped on" by the stars!

Among those paying tribute to the occasion were Whisperin' Bill Anderson & The Oak Ridge Boys who sang their first-ever LIVE rendition of the artists's newly released duet titled "Gone Away". Anderson appropriately dedicated their performance to the stage and noted that it, too, would be 'gone away' after the show.

Produced by Buddy Cannon, "Gone Away" was co-written by Bill Anderson, Steve Ripley, Tim DuBois, and John Wooley and offers countless reflections of people, places, and things that no longer exist in today's world. You can get the song from iTunes http://cwired.co/BAgonaawayIT
