BILL ANDERSON SHARES AUTOGRAPH TIPS FOR CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL FANS
Perhaps no one has signed more autographs in the 40-year history of Fan Fair/CMA Music Festival than Country Music Hall of Famer Bill Anderson, who has missed only one Festival since it began in 1972. So when we sought out a master to give autograph-seekers some friendly advice, the choice was obvious. Here’s what he had to say:
I continue to be honored every time someone wants my signature. These are not marching orders, but a few serious and not-so-serious suggestions as to how you might get the most of out of your autograph collecting experience.
BILL ANDERSON KICKS OFF CMA MUSIC FEST AS GRAND MARSHAL
Whisperin' Bill Anderson was honored today as the Co-Grand Marshall ( with The Oak Ridge Boys) of the CMA Music Fest Parade. This parade officially kicks off CMA Music Festival and this year included celebrities such as : LoCash Cowboys, Lee Brice, Eli Young Band, Mark Wills, Ashley Gearing, Billy Dean, Lynn Anderson, ’80s pop star Tiffany, Steve Holy, Miss Willie Brown, Bo Bice, Ty Herndon, Stealing Angels, and many more! Thousands of fans gathered in over 90 degree weather as Bill lead the parade in a Yellow Chevy Camaro Convertible!

OPRY MEMORIES TO AIR ON PBS THIS JUNE

OPRY MEMORIES, featuring historic television performances from the Grand Ole Opry 1965-1975, will premiere April 13th in Nashville at 7:00pm/CDT on Nashville Public Television (NPT) and will run on PBS stations nationwide in June. All performances were taped at the Ryman Auditorium.
Hosted by actor-singer John Schneider, the show offers performances by such stars as Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, and George Jones. Schneider is also joined by special guest Bill Anderson, who is celebrating his 50th Anniversary year as a member of the Opry.
